The Ultraverse – Silent Call

The Ultraverse has a connection to Rotterdam: Huub van Loon studied Jazz and graduated in the field of pop music on the conservatory of Rotterdam.

The sound of The Ultraverse can be described as dark and electronic, yet it’s obvious there’s a love for pop music as well. Huub is inspired by groundbreaking artists like Trentemoller, Moderat and Bob Moses. That last one is exactly what came to mind when I listened to the “Silent Call” for the first time and makes me curious to what we can expect from future releases. There will be an EP this Spring titled “A Wiser Man” and a second single coming before that, so we won’t have to wait for too long.

On stage, Huub (synths and live vocals) is joined by his brother Jos van Loon (as a live producer) and Pim Mulders on guitar.
