Monte Booker is a very productive 20-year-old producer from Chicago. Not only producing for himself but for others as well. His Soundcloud is full of soulful and glitchy hiphop/R&B instrumentals and he states that a new EP is coming soon. His latest release is a fistful of tracks which didn’t make the final cut but he probably thought it would be a shame if they were hidden from the public forever.
The official single before that was a release on Soulection, “Mona Lisa” featuring singer/rapper Naji. This is said to be a glimpse of what can be expected in the coming months this new year.
However it’s not his first release for Soulection. In 2015 the beatmaker released an EP for the 16th instalment of the label’s ‘White Label’ series. This one featured collaborations with Ravyn Lenae and Smino. “Kolors” was the most streamed track of that EP.
