Copenhagen based Mattis scores with his first release, single “Loverboy”. According to his Soundcloud page Mattis describes his sound in a tongue-in-cheek way as ‘This is viking soul.’ And soulful it is.
Not much is known about the Danish artist. Besides that his last name is ‘Jakobsen’ and he apparently is a 6’8″ tall former punk-rocker. “Loverboy” is a personal story about heartbreak.
