[:en]JFDR aka Jófríður Ákadóttir is an multi-instrumentalist from Iceland who already received much praise by Björk. Her latest single “Airborne” stands out with its chopped up drumbeat and soft pianoloop.
This Spring she will release her debut solo album “Brazil” on her own imprint White Sun Records.

Her first single “White Sun” has a slower tempo but is just as mesmerizing.

I deliberately write ‘solo album’ because you might have heard her before, as she’s also part of Samaris, Gangly and Pascal Pinon. Quite productive!
