Foxtrott

[:en]Marie-Hélène L. Delorme is a Montreal based singer-producer better known as Foxtrott. Her most recent previous work mainly consisted of (some great) remixes (which can be found on her Soundcloud). She’s also released an EP titled “Shields” in 2012.

Her new track “Driven” however is her first solo material since that EP and it is one hell of a comeback single. Love the part when she starts singing the “Maybe I’m also Driven (by)” lyrics along to the synths.

Her debut album “Taller Than Us” is out November 6th on One Little Indian.

[:nl]Marie-Hélène L. Delorme is een uit Montreal afkomstige singer-producer beter bekend als Foxtrott. Haar meest recente werk bestaat voornamelijk uit (een aantal geweldige) remixen (die gevonden kunnen worden op haar Soundcloud pagina). In 2012 bracht ze ook een EP uit getiteld “Shields”.

Haar nieuwe track “Driven” is haar eerste solo materiaal sinds die EP en het is een single waardoor alle ogen (en oren) weer op haar gericht zijn. Dat stuk waarin ze start met het meezingen van de tekst “Maybe I’m also Driven (by)” op de synths is echt geweldig.

Haar debuutalbum “Taller Than Us” komt 6 November uit via One Little Indian.
